Are you an artist, an art fan or an avid gig goer? If so, Appetite are hosting an event that may be for you.

Appetite are a local organisation in charge of hosting most of the arts-related events in Stoke-on-Trent. Their next event Art Slam is going ahead on Saturday 27th November from 7-11pm at the Goods Yard.

In collaboration with Capital&Centric, Art Slam brings people together, allowing local artists and creative talent to go head to head in battles to see who can create the best masterpiece in 30 minutes.

This one-of-a-kind event is predicted to replicate the atmosphere of a live gig, bringing people together to raise funds for the Macari Foundation – a local charity which supports the homeless and those in need by helping them find secure shelter.

All the artwork will be raffled at the end of the night, bringing much needed exposure to our incredibly talented local artists, and all the money will be split between themselves and the Macari Foundation.

With round after round of live painting and sculpting, the crowd have the ultimate say on who makes the grand final and is crowned champion, adding a competitive edge to the event.

Some of the best local hospitality businesses are expected to be available all night too, with DJs in attendance and rumoured surprises up their sleeves. This is definitely not an event you want to miss.

Tickets are available here if you’d like to come along!
